The climatic conditions of Sardinia with its particular microclimate make it possible for the famous Sardinian spiny artichoke to grow. It’s one-of-a-kind. Fleshy and often without the internal “beard”, Sardinian artichokes have a softer taste as opposed to the bitter one of other artichokes. Their processing, from cutting to conservation, is made entirely by hand and without the addition of preservatives. The delicate seasoning, made with local natural flavorings, makes these artichokes in oil a real irresistible pleasure. Known for its organoleptic properties and its different qualities, it is used for every occasion and for every type of dish, from a delicate side dish to first courses such as pasta and rice, up to second courses of meat and fish.
